The Legacy Fund was created to put meaningful resources directly into the hands of people building businesses, creating opportunity, and strengthening their communities. It is designed to be accessible, transparent, and impact-focused—not limited to one industry or one type of founder.
Applicants are considered based on the strength of their vision, intended use of funds, potential impact, and readiness to move their idea or business forward. The fund is especially intentional about expanding access for founders who are often overlooked by traditional funding systems while remaining open to applicants from all backgrounds.
Selected recipients receive direct funding, while applicants also gain access to practical planning resources created to help turn ideas into stronger, more sustainable businesses.
Funding at a glance
The Legacy Fund is structured to create recurring opportunities for support throughout the year.
Three selected recipients can receive $1,000 awards during eligible funding cycles.
A larger quarterly award is reserved for a standout applicant with a strong plan and measurable impact.
The non-refundable application fee supports administration of the fund and includes access to the Legacy Resource Kit.

How it works
Complete the Legacy Fund application during the open season and share your business, idea, intended use of funds, and expected impact.
Applications are reviewed for clarity of vision, need, feasibility, use of funds, and the potential to create meaningful forward movement.
Selected recipients are notified and publicly celebrated on this page. Winner updates remain here as part of the Legacy Fund archive.
Legacy Resource Kit
Applicants receive practical business tools designed to support planning and execution, including a business plan template, pitch deck template, budget and cash-flow template, grant checklist, marketing outline, mission worksheet, and content planner.
Program details, award timing, and availability may be updated from season to season. Current dates and official winner announcements will always be posted on this page.
